Almost all of these points fail to include neurodivergent candidates. The assumption “correctly *and* quickly” is patently false for people on the spectrum, for example. Does Karat even have a process for candidate to request accommodations?
We do have an accommodation request process and have received positive feedback from candidates who identify as neurodivergent in the past. Accommodations include additional time, screen reader access for candidates with visual impairment, ASL interviews, and others depending on the need. We also offer candidates the opportunity to redo their interview with a new question and new interviewer if they feel like they did not perform to their best capabilities for any reason.
