  • The hiring standards applied to contractors are not always the same as those applied to full-time employees. In financial services, for example, only 55% of ITSP engineers meet the Tier-1 bank hiring bar compared to 66% of full-time employees. 
  • As contractor usage grows, this gap can widen. In a competitive environment like Bangalore, GCCs risk diluting their overall talent quality as they race to scale headcount.
