Who is a good fit?
The Ignite! course is designed for students and early- to mid-level engineers who want independent structured study plans. You should be able to work in a self-paced, asynchronous environment to achieve goals.
You must be a member of Brilliant Black Minds before enrolling in the course.

Through 4 weeks of guided self-study, this course is designed to help improve your technical interviewing skills.
Self-paced study modules
Brush up on interviewing best practices and foundational problem-solving techniques with 4 weeks of curated videos, tips, templates, practice problems, and other resources to level up your interview prep.
Ongoing access to BBM Study Groups
Course participants can supplement their learning in the courseroom with twice weekly study sessions led by BBM Community Ambassadors. In these sessions, you’ll review DSA topics and solve problems together.
Quarterly incentives
Participants who complete the Ignite! course may be entered into drawings for access to additional interviews, mentoring and coaching, resume reviews, and more! (Note: Completion is defined as working through all modules within the 4-week timeframe.)

Exclusive to Brilliant Black Minds members, this course offers targeted resources to help students, early- and mid-career engineers successfully prepare for technical interviews.
Admissions are rolling and you will be enrolled in the course on the Monday (or Tuesdays in the case of a Monday holiday) after you apply. You will receive an email from the Brilliant Black Minds account at Thinkific to create a password to access the course. Once you do so, you can begin working on the course at any time.
The Brilliant Black Minds program offers twice-weekly problem-solving study sessions run by BBM Community Ambassadors. You can join this as you are able to ask questions and practice solving problems with other community members. You can also join the Ignite! course channel on Discord to connect with others in the course, find study partners, and ask questions.
Self-paced courses can be difficult to manage because life happens, but setting goals and determining your why are key components to your success. You are enrolling in the Ignite! course to improve your technical interview skills—keep that in mind as you work through the 4 weeks. Establish dedicated study times for yourself to stay consistent and track your progress!
No, your access to Ignite ends on the final day of the course. You can always bookmark outside links and resources, but the course content is only available for 4 weeks. This is to keep you motivated to work through the material in the allotted time.
That depends on the waitlist! If there is space available you can re-enroll but priority will be given to new participants.
